About Dr. Devdas:

I am a licensed psychologist with 15+ years of experience working with adults. In the past, I have worked in university counseling centers with non-traditional aged students, in a community mental health center, and as a visiting professor at a local university teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on counseling theory and practice, trauma therapy, and psychopathology. I have also provided training presentations on therapy related topics to professional organizations, non-profit centers, and university counseling centers.

I am currently working part-time in my practice and part-time as a University lecturer. I have been licensed since 2012 by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (License #36107). I enjoy staying up-to-date on new psychological treatments and attend various seminars related to treatment planning and delivery. My practice is virtual only and thus convenient to the DFW area, as well as potentially anywhere in the State of Texas. I work exclusively with adults with a wide variety of presenting concerns, from depression and anxiety to trauma recovery and relationship struggles.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, chatting with friends, reading a good fiction book, watching a good horror movie or binge re-watching shows from the 80s and 90s that I love. I believe very much in a work-life balance, but give 100% to whichever role I am in at the moment.
